Statement from the Honorary Field Trial Secretary
It has been brought to my attention that I have made a mistake with the draw date for the open stake to be run on the 28th January 2012.
All I can say is I’m very sorry for the error, I just lost track of the days and date over the Christmas New Year period.
Unwittingly the draw was actually done on the closing date 4th January 2012 instead of the 5th January 2012.
No entries have arrived since the 31st December 2011 and I’ve had nobody contact me to witness the draw. Nobody has been put at a disadvantage by my error.
Please accept my sincere apologies

Result of the Open A.V. Retriever Stake on 25th October 2011 at Knowle Game Farm
1st Oakvalley Black Storm – Robert Worrall
2nd Ft Ch. Brindlebay Butler – Mike Tallamy
3rd Norlands Catchfly Jack of Turnerbrook
Judges: Messer’s Allen, Gale, Pelham & Mitchell
Result of the Labrador Novice Stake on 24th November in Kent.
1st was Sue Cradock with Chiddingfold Gao - a worthy winner who was also Guns Choice,
2nd was Barry Harvey with Garretshall Oyster
3rd was Liz Barnes with Deerbridge Freddy who was also Best Looking in the awards
Judges were Barbara Kuen, Ron Jeffries, Mark Polley and Jim Christon.

A Labrador Novice Stake on 25th January in W Sussex. Entries close 2nd January 2012
A.V. Open Stake on 28th January 2012 in W Sussex. Entries close 4th January 2012
